THE SCHOOL'S AIMS:

The school aims are to teach and train new Israeli radiographers to care patients and to give them medical radiographic and imaging services .

All of this are done to create an Israeli professional Diagnostic Radiographers for the Medical Imaging Departments in the hospitals and the medical clinics in Israel.

THE TRAINING PLAN:

The training plan is along 3 years .

The sdudies include academic learnings in BAR-ILAN University , Ramat Gan-ISRAEL.

The trainings in our school devide to two main parts:

1. The academic program,

2. The clinic trainings program in the Diagnostic institudes.

The basics and the theoretical training plan is given in our school for about continuous 5-6 months, in the first part of the first year, and includes:

Nurseing in the X ray units

Pathalogy

Radiologic tools.

Radiographic photography.

Radiographic positioning.

Computed Radiology- CR

Direct Radiology- DR

PACS

C.A.T scan.

Ultrasound

M.R.I.

Nuclear Medicine

The 'Bar Ilan university''s academic plan, base on two years (+2 summer semesters) 2 days a week program, and includes:

Human anatomy and physiology

Radiotherapy

Pharmecology.

Physics (Electric and Radiation)

Entry to psychology

Organization

Medical sociology

Social and industry sociology

English

Medical economy

Low and medicine

Statistics

Computers trainings

Research work

Along the third year of the course the students can choose a specialization area

( like : CT, MRI, General Ultrasound, OB/GEN Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine ,and more.)

After 3 years of training ,the students will graduate by the

Israeli Health Ministery for:

An authorized Radiographer For Medicine.

And by the 'BAR-ILAN' UNIVERSITY (RA) for :

B.A. in THE INTERDISCIPLINARY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (RADIOGRAPHERS)
